A great place we return to often – Karczma na Kocierzu always maintains a high standard. Today, however, we were particularly captivated by the staff, especially Ms. Maja. She's a delightful, smiling, and very warm person with a fantastic approach to guests. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her work – excellent communication, complete culture, and immense kindness. Such people create the atmosphere of this place and make you want to come back even more often. And the food, as always, is fantastic! The goose dumplings, the brownie with currant sauce – simply poetry 😍 And the fantastic hunter's tea deserves a special mention, it does the trick on cold days and warms you up wonderfully. Such flavors and such an atmosphere will stay with you for a long time. We highly recommend both the inn and the top-notch service. We spent a few days at Kocierz Resort with my family and it was really enjoyable. Our room was of a good standard, clean, and regularly serviced, though a bit tired of guests since the last renovation. The facility itself is well-maintained and atmospheric. It offers activities for children (e.g., a playroom, entertainment, a wide selection of board games, table football, ping-pong, etc.). Children can participate in an interesting outdoor game. There's also a nice area with a pool and saunas. Breakfast and dinner are top-notch by hotel standards. There's a wide selection, and everything is very tasty and fresh. You can also take advantage of the inn's offer, which also offers excellent dishes. Plus, there's unlimited access to carafes of water and a coffee and tea corner. A key strength of the hotel is its service and attentiveness to guests. We had a few unusual requests (e.g., an additional heating source for the room when we were freezing cold after a long trip and needed to warm up quickly, and dinner was served despite being late for the scheduled meal times), and all were met promptly, with a palpable sense of simple human kindness. In short, I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel where they can escape the tourist bustle of towns like Zakopane or Szczyrk, while still being in a location that provides a good base for hiking or winter sports. - 29/01/2026

KOCIERZ RESORT – an absolutely exceptional place. From December 30, 2025, to January 1, 2026, we spent a wonderful, unforgettable time at Kocierz Resort in Targanice. The location is simply perfect – the hotel sits on a peak, surrounded by predominantly coniferous forests, with mountain trails leading directly from the resort. The view from the hill, including Andrychów illuminated at night, is beautiful and incredibly charming. The entire complex delights with its stylish highland architecture, and the Christmas and New Year-themed interiors, including a huge Christmas tree placed in the center of Kraczma, created a fragrant, magical atmosphere. Guests have access to, among other things: A swimming pool, spa area, and jacuzzi perfectly complement the comfort of your stay. A very pleasant welcome touch was the bottle of wine, chocolate (made especially for Kocierz Resort), and a calendar for 2026 waiting in the room – a gesture that immediately made guests feel special. The staff deserves special recognition – they are extremely kind, professional, and always helpful. The cuisine is exquisite, refined, and incredibly diverse – dozens of dishes of excellent quality, tempting even with their appearance. The stay also included a sleigh ride in the snowy winter scenery, which will remain in our memories forever. The New Year's Eve Ball absolutely met our expectations! Sublime cuisine and professional service (our waiter was Mr. Kacper, who took great care of us). The DJ (who also played the saxophone) hosted the ball at the highest level, exuding passion, professionalism, and positive energy that spread throughout the party – the crowd was international, and the atmosphere was truly exhilarating. We wholeheartedly recommend Kocierz Resort – it's a unique place, full of charm and impeccably organized. An unforgettable experience and a fantastic time are guaranteed. Kocierz Resort is the perfect venue for your wedding and reception! The organization was top-notch – from the very beginning, through email contact, right up to the day of the ceremony. The service was incredibly professional and friendly, the food was delicious, and we felt cared for every step of the way. During our multi-day stay, we also took advantage of the spa and wellness area, which was a lovely and relaxing addition, both before and after the ceremony. A very nice family hotel. Daytime entertainment for children, an indoor pool, and saunas. We visited in December and the atmosphere was fantastic. The inn serves delicious food, and there's a children's corner nearby, which makes it even easier. We'll definitely be back in the summer. Highly recommended! - 13/01/2026
